Welcome to 1050 North Mountain Avenue

Ground was broken on our home by Ms. Beatty, the house mother, on November 19th, 1927. A year later, on November 19, 1928, Beta Delta opened as the the first chapter house of a women’s fraternity on campus. It cost $40,000 and housed 32 women. There have been two major additions since. The first, in 1948 which went north along Mountain Avenue, and the second in 1961, which added to the north wing.

The house currently sleeps 56 women and includes a private residence for our house mom. Over the past five years, the house has seen major renovations to both the interior spaces and exterior courtyard. Below are pictures showcasing our main living room and live-in study quarters.
